Some areas feature darker lighting and theatrical effects to enhance the atmosphere, so captains (that’s you, parents!) should use their judgement for very young or faint-hearted crew members.  Little buccaneers will delight in the treasure dig, immersive sets and hands-on discoveries, while older sailors and grown-ups can dive deep into the real artefacts, detailed displays and true tales from the history of piracy.

We strongly recommend securing yer passage in advance via Humanitix to guarantee entry to PirateFest. Many sessions fill faster than a treasure chest at high tide! A small number of tickets may be available at the gate, but this cannot be promised and depends entirely on remaining capacity when ye arrive. Best not to chance it, matey!

Aye, we do accept coin at the gate, should ye prefer to pay in cold hard treasure. That said, we recommend securing yer tickets in advance online to guarantee entry - for once the hold be full, no more souls can come aboard.

Aye! Little deckhands under the age of three may come aboard free of charge, so long as they be accompanied by a ticketed adult captain.

Aye! We offer select Quiet Sessions for neurodivergent crew who prefer a calmer voyage. During these times, sound levels be lowered, lighting softened where possible, and the atmosphere made gentler for those who benefit from a more peaceful adventure. Keep a weathered eye on our session listings to spy the Quiet Session times before ye book.

Aye! PirateFest be designed so all hands may come aboard. The exhibition be wheelchair accessible, with wide pathways and step-free access throughout the voyage. Should ye require any assistance upon arrival, our crew be ready to lend a steady hand to ensure a smooth and comfortable passage. 🏴‍☠️

At busier tides, our crew may guide ye through the smoothest route to keep the flow steady for all hands. Should ye need assistance, just hail a crew member and we’ll gladly lend a hand. 🏴‍☠️

Aye, we do! PirateFest proudly accepts valid Companion Cards. Holders may bring their companion aboard free of charge.

Nay, there be no need to waste good parchment! Ye may present yer tickets upon a glowing device at the gate, and our crew will scan ’em swift as a cutlass flash. If ye prefer to carry a printed copy, that be welcome too, but a digital ticket will see ye safely aboard.

Fear not, matey! Humanitix sends a confirmation email with yer tickets as soon as ye complete yer booking. First, check the inbox of the email address used at purchase (and search for “Humanitix”), and be sure to peek in yer spam or junk folder. Aye! Yer ticket grants ye full access to the PirateFest exhibition - including the immersive sets, treasure dig, interactive displays and tales from the high seas. Once aboard, there be plenty to explore without paying another doubloon. We do sell pirate swag at our merchandise stand which is not part of yer ticket cost.

While we love loyal shipmates of the four-legged kind, only registered assistance dogs be permitted aboard PirateFest.

Aye, we’ve got fine booty to take home! PirateFest merch be available at the treasure shop — from keepsakes to souvenirs fit for every buccaneer. And aye again! We gladly accept EFTPOS and card payments for all merchandise, so ye can trade yer booty without fuss.

All ticket sales are final and we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind or missed sessions. If your plans change, you may request a transfer to another available session (subject to capacity) provided you contact us at least 24 hours before your original session time.

Each crew be granted 90 mighty minutes to roam the decks, uncover hidden treasure, and dive deep into the true tales of the high seas. We recommend arriving on time, lest ye lose precious moments of plunder, for once the sands of the hourglass run out, the next band of buccaneers be ready to come aboard!
