Welcome to PirateFest, a grand exhibition that charts the true history of piracy across the ages. Long before the famous rogues of the Caribbean raised their black flags, sea raiders were already stalking the trade routes of the ancient world.

 

At PirateFest ye’ll voyage through time itself, from the pirates of ancient Egypt and the Mediterranean seas, and onward to the notorious Golden Age of Piracy in the 18th century.

Step inside and wander through immersive sets that bring these wild centuries back to life. Dark taverns, pirate hideouts, and treasure-filled chambers recreate the world these seafaring outlaws once knew. Along the way ye’ll encounter ghostly holographic storytellers, who'll share the daring tales of their adventures upon the high seas.

Scattered throughout the exhibition be genuine historical treasures and artifacts, carefully displayed to reveal the tools, weapons, and riches tied to the age of piracy. From maps and maritime relics to glittering plunder, these objects help tell the remarkable story of how piracy shaped trade, exploration, and the great struggles for power upon the oceans.

Young deckhands are welcome aboard as well, for PirateFest be filled with adventure for families. Children can hunt for hidden riches in the treasure dig, follow clues, and explore hands-on activities.
